On a life long mission to find any audio or video footage of this show. If anybody knows of anything out there please let me know. If you were at that show feel free to share your experience in this thread.

Btw...for those that didn't know...this was the greatest beastie show ever!!!

I know this message is a bit old, but the 1995 show at MSG was great! According to another 2008 web-board and other articles, the show wasn't filmed.

I had to scalp tickets because the show was sold out, at least the GA floor tickets were. I wanted to see the Bad Brains; I figured once in a lifetime to see a hardcore band in such a big arena, plus getting to see The Beastie Boys there too. I remember $85 is what I paid per ticket a couple weeks before the show, then the prices dropped when Bad Brains pulled out.

Part of Public Enemy teamed up with DJ Hurricane since the Brains were not on the bill anymore. I slipped on someone's spilt drink and got a unrepaired knee problem that still bothers me to this day (fuck, I'm old now). Once the Beasties started, the floor was the area to be. I saw people stage diving over the barrier into the floor crowd! Security couldn't stop it, so the area for 1,000 became 5,000! It started to become a big brawl. Once the punk songs came out, skinheads were in abundance on the floor, so it was a mad mosh pit. I made my GF get behind me and I joined skins & punks tossing people out of the pit over barriers. It was really out of control and too much a risk of being crushed or trampled so that's how it went down on the GA floor area.

The sound was phenomenal! The quadrophonic sound was duplicated in the arena and music came at you from all directions; that was trully amazing! I still got the stubs but wish the rest of the world could see that show. I guess we live in a time where one can witness others' experiences via TV or the web, I just hope the younger generations try to really experience such events.

I'm sure Ricky has footage of this. I saw him filming at the Houston, New Orleans, and Atlanta shows on the Quadrophonic.

Here's the opening from the Nassau show '95. If this doesn't get you pumped, then nothing will! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fB_LMJ8fgB0

Your underwear drawer is probably more organized than Ricky's Beastie tapes.

I have a 'Ricky-shot' video for that Nassau show too. He's floating around before the show. Outside, in the arena, backstage. And at one point during the show one of the beasties goes side stage and asks for an update on the Knicks game.

Hopefully it will see the light of day sometime soon.

Laver - thanks for posting the link to the Nassau Col show. Any footage from that tour is great to see. Love every show I have been to, but that tour was something special for me.
