I am going to adding more of my Beastie Boys Compilations Videos. I can do 1 ( 2 hour comp. ) every week with my Vimeo account. These Comps. are so cool , and I figure everyone Beastie fan can enjoy these collections. I have some of the most rare hard to find clips ever , and this has been a 24 year project. Just a very large amount of footage. The way a see it : I can just let these collections sit in my garage , or share them with other fans. If you guys will enjoy them , then it will be well with it to post them online.

Thanks so much! You know it would be a shame if they just say collecting dust. Better put them to use. Also who knows when we will get to see the guys together as a band so really stuff like this would be nice to have around. :p

Did you by chance used to sell VHS tapes with the footage? I am having a serious 92 flashback right now if you are the guy I spoke to back then who sent me these 9 VHS tapes that I still have, in fact they are the only VHS tapes I still have other than LTI and Sabotage.

Is this you? If it is I've got to tell you those VHS tapes got some serious mileage, like a VHS mixtape and they were/are the shit. Have I just gone mad or is this you?

Still have all my Ben Escabedo VHS tapes. Still slacking on the transfers to dvd. I have a good stack of 1992 bootleg VHS concerts too that you could get from the back pages of Goldmine newspaper/ magazine. Mad respect to Ben!!!

Curious how you amassed this collection. Did you somehow record most of this stuff yourself, or is it a collection from mail order/ebay?

I recorded most of this stuff myself. In the late 80's when you are a teenager there is really alot of spare time for hobbies. & In the early 90's I had a good telephone relationship with their manager. So he would keep me informed of important T.V. appearences. If it wasn't for him I would of never known about the Beastie Boys Secret Show at the Ibeam in San Francisco in 1992. Also between 1992 - 1995 the Beastie Boys were on MTV so much , I would just start a 6 hour VHS tape recording MTV , then when I would get home I would scan over the 6 hours ( watching in fast foward ), and edit out Beastie Parts onto a Beastie Compilation Tape. I am working on Beastie Compilation # 22 right now , it should be ready in about a year. It is hard now to make them , because the Beastie Boys do very little press now.
But 15 - 20 years ago they were everywhere !

Ha you knew how to work that! You know back in the day we didn't have easy technology to always find out what our favorite bands were up to. It's great you were so invested in this because it's paying off. I spent an hour last night with a friend and we watched the latest one you posted. Loads of stuff i hadn't seen before!! We had a blast watching all of those fans lined up for the show in Milwaukee! There was also a performance on SNL and Horovitz acting alongside Will Ferrel! How ironic that 15 years later he'd be in a Beastie Boys video!!!
