Pretty much every car you've owned in proper order. I can't remember the years I've had mine but I do remember the order. I don't have any pics of the old cars I had so I'm using google for them.

first, given to me by my mom, 1980 Olds Cutlass Supreme. Mine was white with a maroon vinyl top.

http://i.imgur.com/19vgT.jpg

then a 1979 AMC AMX. Loved the hell outta it. It had a 289 straight six and it was raised a little bit so I could go muddin' and all of that fun stuff. Cept for mine was a beige color and I just spray painted it primer black to look like something from Mad Max.

http://i.imgur.com/b6A9o.jpg

then a 1978 Chrysler LeBaron. It looked identical to this cept for the rims. I had the original rims. It was a sleeper with a 318 5.7 liter. It would haul ass like you wouldn't believe. I got rear ended in the highway in it by a Kenworth semi truck when I was trying to turn off into my friend's driveway. I know the semi was a Kenworth because the damn hood emblem ended up in my backseat when it crashed into me.

http://i.imgur.com/jTREu.jpg

Then a 1978 Plymouth Horizon. Eh, it went everywhere I wanted it to go. Great on gas. I just didn't keep the maintenance up with it and blew the transmission up. Mine was the same color but I had wood panels on the sides.

http://i.imgur.com/GoM5K.jpg

after that, I had a 1992 Chevy S10. Loved it. Just a basic pick erm' up truck. Mine was blue but I had the same hubcaps that this has.

after the S10, I had a 1989 Lincoln Town Car. Something about the style of the 89, I just loved it. It was powerful, comfortable and it just looked so cool. Mine looked just like this one. It was too costly on gas so I went on to the Jetta.

http://i.imgur.com/7ixT4l.jpg

After the TC I had a 1996 VW jetta. Mine was exactly like this one. It ended up getting repo'd because of some crap that happened between my exgf and I.

http://i.imgur.com/ugnPq.jpg

I then joined the army after that, drove a few humvees and such.

After the army, I bought another 89 Lincoln TC but my ex wife totaled it.

After my TC was totaled, I bought a 1996 Pontiac Grand Am. Ended up selling it and got the job in the mideast. Mine looked just like this but I had it in black.

http://i.imgur.com/m2z8q.jpg

After that, I drove a few suburbans, humvees and shit in the mideast.

and now I have the Wrangler. Brand new still with only 8,007 miles as of today.

First I had a 1996 Vauxhall/Opel Vectra.
http://1.2.3.13/bmi/www.imcdb.org/i357601.jpg
I think it was exactly this colour too. Owned it back in 2007 when I first passed my test, phoned up my dad and asked if he could get me a car by that weekend. 2.0L of power which was pretty good for a first car, didn't even drive it for a year before I went to Iraq so gave it to my sister. Think the gearbox blew up on her and that was the car RIP.

2nd onto my first BMW. Got this in 2009, great car actually, still have it at the moment. Converted me to the wonders of German engineering and don't think I'll turn back. The E39 5 series is one of the best BMWs made and apart from the fact that mine was high mileage and didn't have a very big engine I loved it. Engines range from about 2 litre up to the 4 litre and then the M5 on top of that. I'd even buy another one now.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v144/damaja/BMBM.jpg

Finally...
http://1.2.3.9/bmi/a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/250849_10150202191116855_705201854_6957345_1850477 _n.jpg
Current ride now. A 2.8L 3 series. It's a top spec, low mileage for the year and I love it. Really fast and a great drive. I won't be turning away from BMW any time soon!

The last 2 pictures are actually my cars by the way.

Oh and Eric, you cars are sooo American, haha! Except for the shitty little Horizon, looks like something we'd get over here. Funny that your cars have engine sizes 2-3x more than anything we drive too! In addition, I've driven a selection of armoured vehicles in the course of my job too, not really 'mine' though. Tracked vehicles are crap on fuel too, couldn't afford to fill one up anyway! The Challenger 2 takes over 1000 litres of diesel which at today's prices would cost well in excess of 1500 UK pounds to fill!

I will try and put up photos....but my first vehicle you'll definitely have to google. It's an Austin FG truck. Next were 2 Bedford TK trucks, then i went all sensible

Ford Escort
Another Escort
Ford Cortina
MG metro
Bmw 320
Vw polo
Audi something or other, A6??
Nissan Primera, and i'm still driving it.

The top one is the FG-my first vehicle, i got when i was 18 or 19, it was no way as shiny as that one and was maroon with a little box on the back. It had a pre-synchromesh gearbox in it and was a total bastard to drive. So i got the next one which was blue but also not as shiny as that /\ one. I loved it so i got another one when i scrapped it.

How can i get rid of all the shit round the pictures? I never had a problem before but it seems to happen every time i put up a picture from flickr now.

I don't think I have any pictures of any of my cars...maybe because I'm a girl??

My first car was a 1984 red Chevy Chevette. What a piece of shit!

after I got rear ended in that piece of shit, I got another piece of shit car. a 1988 blue Chevy Celebrity

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v512/nicrn77/13971530_1.jpg

my first ever new car was a 2000 green Plymouth Neon

Love this! Also loved all of my cars, especially my first!

1978 Oldsmobile Delta 88. Lime Green! Awesomeness! Was like driving around a pimped out Couch. So damn comfy
http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/3/109/1921/25270960001_large.jpg

Then I got my first Standard transmission car. No going back after that!
1988 Mercury Tracer (really a Mazda 323 made in Mexico that Ford slapped a Mercury tag on). Great car! Mine was red all over, not two toned like this pic.
http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu17/jean-seb/misc%20cars/MercuryTracer.jpg

Next I had a 1991 Mazda 626 Blue, most proper CAR I drove up until that point. Was really fun to drive (also standard). First car I ever owned that was manufactured in the same decade I drove it (for the first year). That felt fancy!
http://images02.olx.com/ui/1/05/69/12429669_1.jpg

Finally I got my current car, a 2004 Toyota Corolla, which was also the first NEW car I've ever owned. Got it the summer before its model year so for about 6 months I was driving a car from the future. I'm embarressed to say that blew my mind ever day. Trying to get this one to 10 years, only have a couple more to go! Easily the best car I've ever owned. Fun to drive (standard) and substantial feeling while still being plenty nimble and amazing on both gas and maintenance. Great car. Will miss it when its time comes...

yeah, over here, big engines were the thing. Gas was affordable and it was cool to say that your car had a 454. Now it's really not that way. I currently have a 3.8 V6 which costs about $80 to fill up which lasts for a week if I drive to work everyday.

I love your beemer. Nice color and everything and my coworker just bought a 2004 5 series and his is looks brand new. I thought his was a '09 at the first look till he told me the year. It's what I like about European cars.

While I was in the army, I was assigned 3 trucks and they were really "mine" as in I signed for and was responsible for anything that happened to them. Since I worked as a lead small arms repairman, I had these 3 trucks. 2 of them was equipped with armament shops to repair weapons on site.

I don't even know the year of this one but I can guarantee it has seen WW2, a deuce and a half.

love this thread.
car i learnt in was an old ford laser in white; good, little car
http://117.53.175.169/CarPhotos/factory/photos/DP2.jpg

next was the 'love' of my life, my first real car i bought with cash, an '83 VH holden commodore SL/X.
http://i1193.photobucket.com/albums/aa341/mattsag/Image016.jpg
my uncle had a flagship model VH when i was young and it really was the start of my motoring passion (which now extends into me becoming an auto tech). i tried to get her as close (cosmetically) to the flag ship but parts were hard to source. also, not having a v8 was a bit depressing at times; it's a tough old sedan which deserves a v8. and soon, small problems just kept jumping on top of each other.

got really sick of not having it 100% and purchased a 2006 VZ commodore to rid myself of problems!
http://i1193.photobucket.com/albums/aa341/mattsag/Image014.jpg

funny thing is, i did all this before i decided to study mechanics and automotive knowhow. if i had my time back, i wouldn't of sold the red beast and just fixed the, now incredibly, minor problems it had. and i wouldn't be paying off a late model car which is hard whilst trying to make do with apprentice wages. such is life.

The only car I've ever owned. Bought it from my brother who had it since new. Skoda Fabia, 1.4L, 2000 reg. Still got it. On its last legs unless I spend over a thousand pounds getting it fixed.

Whilst not a flashy car, or powerful or anything really... it is a genuinely great car to drive. I only realise this when I drive other cars. For example I hired a Vauxhall Corse the other week and it felt like playing a video game in an armchair. At least with my car you have a sense of what is going on, and when you put your foot down the car actually responds and makes a noise.

4 of my friends have owned Chevettes. None of them were pieces of shit. They've all had over 100k miles and all they did was change the oil and basic maintenance. 1 of my friends actually took his mudding and shit and it held up like a tank. Another friend of mine blew a cylinder out and it ran on 3 cylinders for 2 years before it finally gave up on him. Sorry to hear yours wasn't as faithful.

Batavus Buster, 18 speed mountain bike, got it from my grandmother, which was a huge present at the time.

http://amiral44vtt.free.fr/VOSVTT/velos/GiantTrack.jpg
Giant Track (without the bullhorns), got it from the insurance money when the previous bike got stolen. Still have this but haven't used it for years.

After this one I had several classic dutch style bikes that a late friend of mine would put together from parts he'd find anywhere. They had two things in common: They were cheap and at some point seemed to fall apart...

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_PcxEYt0F6hk/SWS5WkTms3I/AAAAAAAABXw/iu0_vjKpw2g/s400/Batavus+Old+Dutch+Bent.bmp
... which is why when I had the chance to get a big discount on it through work (government incentive regarding health and travel costs) I bought this Batavus Old Dutch new.

Got a near identical one (new model) from the insurance when I lost the previous one.

This is a fairly typical Amsterdam vehicle history if one has always lived at walking distance from downtown and no need to be elsewhere in the country at a regular basis.

None of these are my own by the way.
