do deleted threads count, they could be counted as threads that were actually created. that could explain the difference.

Also, this board has been going since the 90s (I joined 99 but there was members from years before that even) so how far do we take it back? We're on about Mk IV of the board by my count and probably have easily popped the 1,000,000th cherry on threads (nvm posts) from them.
