i got some as birthday presents and they are so, so awesome. nothing nicer for slicing the hell out of a juicy tomato. and sure, if you drop one, it shatters, but they're affordable and never need honing or sharpening! i still love my Shun and my Kuhn Rikons but i'm glad they understand it's not an exclusive relationship.
