Tell me stuff about San Diego

Cool stuff preferably. I'm going to see my brother in couple of weeks, will mainly be hanging out with him but i just wanted to find out things about it and surrounding area. Didn't ever find out anything when i went before as it was all pretty much my bro's wedding stuff. Am ever so terribly excited.

the gaslamp, (or gaslight?) district is where all the bars and night life are, right next to the baseball stadium, convention center, and near a harbor.

La Jolla Cove and some other surrounding beaches have seals just hanging out sunbathing, it's pretty funny...

I'm pretty sure the hotel i stayed in last time was right by the gaslamp district. My brother's first house was in La Jolla but i never went there. I'm think they live out in suburbia now...san marcos. I'm just happy to be going out to the land of z boys and chilli peppers..allthough i'm aware they're all from a very different part of California!

Comic-Con starts on Thursday.

No way...i'm betting it's going to be long gone when i get there. Alan Moore was at a science festival here a little while back, i could have gone and i really should've but i decided not to. Comic con would be incredible....and i've just been watching it on Paul too. Neil Gaiman was in Singapore when i was there too but it was a 12 hour wait to meet him in the heat and i would probably have just wasted the opportunity and been struck dumb.
