I was looking for something to do with cheap meat and came up with these. Sirloin steak was on sale for $2.99/ lbs. The grade is Canadian AA or USDA Select.

The marinade was oil, lemon, soy, honey, mirin, worcestershire, hot sauce and homemade steak spice (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, herbs, chillies ect...)

I mixed all the ingredients together and then started drinking the marinade. After downing 4 ounces I separated the beef and veggies into two bowls and covered them with the sauce and refrigerated it over night.

i like adding a bit of honey to shish kabob marinades

the honey works better with the veggies to help the marinade to bind and hold, also with chicken(y)
