...even this far down the line?

They're playing Manchester in September and I missed them last year. Thought I wouldn't get another chance, but there you go. Should I splurge? Or spooge?

arent they doing just "fear of a black planet", i could be wrong.

I saw them headline the saturday of Reading festival in 1992 and they were pretty fucking brilliant from what i remember but i dunno now. I think its an interesting enough prospect , just whether you are prepared to be uber disappointed, cos it could be a disjointed emotionless show or it could be one heck of a party. how much are tickets?

Yes. Do not miss the show. The last time I saw them was at a small venue and they took the time to meet and greet all their fans after the show. Chuck is an awesome guy and Flav is...well Flav.

If you go, you'll know. If you don't you may never get the chance again. I know i've really kicked myself for not just forgetting the money and just doing it. It'll be an experience one way or the other

i remember slow and low and then i couldnt tell you because :

a) i was 17 and at my first festival and it was the sunday and i was very worse for wear and dont remember a lot. I turned green apparently during nirvana's set later that night.
b) i hadnt heard cyh before and just remember liking everything i heard and buying a copy when i got back home, couldnt tell you the order apart from first track.
c) it was raining and i think we took cover at some point. I cant claim to have seen all the set or being up for it beforehand, i just happened to get there at that time

They played here a couple of weeks ago. I saw some videos of it and I think you really should go mate. Afterall Public Enemy is Public Enemy. The thread title is really bullshit. No offense :)
