Or does pee smell like coffee?

I can't decide. Either way, I'm prolly drinking too much coffee.

Okay, seriously, stop posting so much.

Thanks for the advice, but I have seen the board without me posting, and it sucks.

Since I've made my "Great News For The Board" thread, and started posting more, other members have been coming back as well.

Is that all because of me?

Yeah, pretty much.

Okay.

I'll try.

However, I must say that you either don't drink coffee, or you never wonder about the great mysteries in life.

Dusty, ease up. Cosmo is cool.

I'm roasting my own coffee now and looking to make a business out of it - offering beans roasted to your preference and roasted less than 24 hours ago - you'd buy that right? Delivered by me on on a motorbike to your house or place of work.

Hit a snag that I've now gotta find a new place to live in 6 weeks as this house is selling - although not finalised yet but hopefully should be soon so I've put the launch on hold while I sort impending homelessness out.

Anyway. Pee smells of tea.

that's a terrible idea for a business.

if this clown wanted to make $50 a week with this business idea he'd have to sell a cup of coffee for $50, and to someone who is mindless.....every week.

I might start a business where I deliver boiled eggs. Why bother doing it yourself in 6 minutes. When I could do it, deliver it in around 2 hours and charge you $10. What do you think?

Incredible.

This is beginning to sound like The Apprentice.

Why has there been no Apprentice thread?

You're Fired!

I bought my own coffee machine so I don't have to pay £2.50 for a cup of slop that is not to my liking.

pee smells like pee.

no he'd give you a shitload of coffee beans for you to use for a bit. not bike round a cup for just one fucking brew.

so to carry on this fucking charade, what you need to do is start a business where you train chickens to ride motorbikes and navigate the streets to turn up at a punters house and drop off an egg or six.

jesus, this is a low point. I'm in a bad mood.

apologies. i forget that the simplicity of roasting coffee beans is beyond some people.

and to be honest...there's some pretty good coffee widely available. good luck to him.

It could work if it was a hobby that he liked to do type thing. Where I agree that there are a lot of good brands to choose from, but they did have to start somewhere, so I think, why not? Also, supporting a local, custom roasting company is something that the farmer's markets crowd might be into.

A co-worker once proclaimed "this coffee tastes like ass!"

=/

I think I'll take his word for it.

How many people roast their own beans? No-one in the UK hardly.

Maybe you misunderstood me. Coffee beans don't start off black or anything (they are actually berries), they start red, then dried to reveal the green seed inside which is also dried and then at that point is when it's roasted. I buy the beans at the green stage.

Three things make a good cup of coffee.
The Roast
The Grind
The Barista

Most people buy coffee as beans or a grind (or instant if they hate themselves). The roast was probably done weeks or months ago - maybe years. I'm bridging the gap of those who don't roast their own to offer a damn fresh roast.

I have found a lot of people who don't really like coffee don't understand - pretty much assume jars of nescafe fall off a tree or grow from the ground - that ain't my market - my market is those snobs who are constantly after the best cup of coffee.

I've had people excited and confused by the idea. Either way, it's a hobby that might make me some £. Didn't mean to pitch here - sorry.

In the current economic climate you'd probably have to move to a swanky neighbourhood to find people willing to pay for that service.

either that, or they'd be people on masses of benefits.

Another classic thread. Myu-to, i disagree with cosmo, only because this board is what it is....start a thread about pee and get a conversation about Adams business plan. Coffee doesn't smell like pee, nor vice versa. Coffee smells like my kichen right now, which is like yummy fresh coffee cos i just made some.

Thank you, someone knows what I'm talking about.

I'm not saying coffee smells bad, it's more eye-opening than Zest. However, what I am saying that if you drink too much of it...
