That was super-well done. I don't have 3d glasses to watch it with, but obviously a lot of work went into that. Two things though, 1. The animated beastie boys look like douchebags and 2. they have camel toes when they are walking in their suits, wit the dog's during Mike's verse.

but overall a pretty rad video.

I watched the vid with red/blue glasses yesterday, and while the 3D is great, I had to take off my normal glasses, so it was a bit foggy. But all the little references, the moves, etc, all f-ing spot on. Big Hi-five! (and a thumbs up!) (y) Talked to a friend yesterday about the video, and we both wondered if it was an "official" video that got leaked, it's that fun!

Second, I want to begin taking suggestions here for ideas to create the video for Multilateral. I figure if Spike is going to do more than one....then so am I. Thanks Turch and Odie, I do this professionally and I am one of 2 people in America certified to teach the software I used to create this (which is called iClone by Reallusion) so, I am a pro-hobbyist I guess you could say. Also, I am clearly an old-school Beastie fan and long time hip hop enthusiast, so that's why the video looks the way it does. It's made by a true fan...for true fans! And my avatar is standing behind the boombox in the subway btw. Think where's Waldo with long hair. Wow, you found some old bullshit right there. That was made with iClone 1.0 the NDP vid was created with iClone 4.3. This is why the latter looks SSSOOO much better. 1.0 couldn't even make my ugly ass look good in 3D, but 4.3 characters are good enough to develop recognizable avatars, such as the Boys. Best thing about that video...my boy Brandon's remix of Triple Trouble. Simple, and worth the listen.

But the dancing comes off as silly/douche to me, and the camel toe made me uncomfortable.... but otherwise it's an insane video. I watched it 3 or 4 times yesterday. Tried it w/ some imax 3d glasses. just gave me a headache. Have to fins some old school ones.

Dude, it's not a camel toe, it's a cucumber. They have cucumbers in their trousers like Derek Smalls (little Chris Guest fo ya!) But don't try to watch it with iMax glasses, your head may explode. I know it's not supposed to be a camel toe, but watch the scene where they are walking the dogs, the seam in their pants looks like a weird animated camel toe. haha. It's more funny than anything else.

This is hands down the best fan video I have seen and it really could be an official DAMN, FUCK! beastie-made project. .

What's up with MCA's hair? It's pretty gimmicky and unoriginal. Also I'm really not crazy about the art design. But kudos for the hard work put into it. Next time I would just collaborate with someone who's a real artist as your strength is obviously in the knowledge of the program.

Thanks for watching and thanks for the feedback, but just to clarify. I have been a professional artist/animator for 10 years. Fine art is my background, not sure what you do for cash, but art has payed my bills for a long time. So, I consider myself to be a "real" artist first.

I agree. It's awesome of this dude to make a bad ass fan video, but come on, we aren't getting much from the beastie boys right now? 2 music videos a NEW ALBUM and a remix EP.

I agree too. I am thankful the fans are doing stuff like this. And don't forget BEN is uploading tons of rare interviews and performances online for us to watch.

Personally I think the Beasties have done a great job considering the situation. Contests for the fans, makesomenoisefm. They also are working on the online store for us too. :D

Ya we have gotten as much or more than could be expected I was thinking more like you know like touring and seeing them do more promo stuff together like they used to with a new album, I should have clarified that. With yauch recovering and all they have done a nice job but I guess I just really miss seeing the three together and it's great for videos like this to hold us over. As far as the negative comment we all have an opinon but jimmyjaymz is right I couldn't do anything like that not even close and if you think you can well let's see it otherwise the negative comments should be kept to yourself IMO
