I considered a "spy" thing that casted the Sabotage characters, but, Spike's vid for Don't Play no Game put a damper on that. Don't want to be a "Johnny come lately" ya know. But duly noted and thanks for being part of the creative process.

(y) The MIX UP era had a lot of spy type black and white vids too though...A little older and not jumping off buildings but just owning the street walking with a purpose, peeking around the corners with their briefcases and trench coats lol. They were so damn cool. But I am sure whatever you do we'll love! :p

I was thinking something like the Sabotage characters sneaking in to a secret missile launching site and blowing it up or something to that effect. But again, a little to close to Spikes video vibe. Then again, in another thread a BladeRunner style was mentioned that I then added an Iron Chef twist to. Like I said, anything goes, the more ideas the merrier!

1st off, I love the work you put in on DPNGTICW.

MND needs to be in the vein of the Something Got to Give vid. Maybe real clips of fighting in Iraq and Afghan. overlaid with cold war nuclear war propaganda posters and school kids in the 50's doing bomb treat drills. Top it all off with some video of people marching in nuclear protest.
Not sure where your animation works into to all of this but you'er an artist so I I'm sure you can figure a way to creatively work it out.

for me this song always conjurs up images of them playing in a secluded beach hut in a tropical climate. no idea why. So maybe you could have something going on inside that hut to pan back to the peaceful surroundings at the end.

I'm strangely inspired by Spectre of the Gun for this one.

I see them playing an all-star softball game but the teams consist of all the characters who have been in their videos instead of celebrities or athletes. During a play, a suicide squeeze bunt perhaps a worm hole forms in the sky over the pitchers mound and the 3 real beasties who are not in character are sucked into the worm hole and transported to another planet with an orange sky and half completed storefronts and saloons, a town that is in fact a replica of tombstone Arizona. Upon arriving they quickly discover they are impromptu characters of a bizarre reenactment of the gunfight at the ok coral (just as wiki describes the episode). So it's beasties in their street gear plus holster and 6 shooters and cowboy hats going up against the Earps in an upside down world with a funny colored sky and incomplete built buildings. They of course change history by beating the earps and when transported back after the fight the earth they left and the softball game they were playing resembles nothing that it was. Instead they return to find all the characters from their videos in gold, red and blue star fleet uniforms, still playing the game but now everyone is a member of starfleet on shore leave who happen to be getting some R&R before departing for their next 5 year mission where mike is captain, mca the science officer and ad rock the red shirt engineer.

Beasties playing instruments and doing random stuff in a flying machine, something like a zeppeling, but designed to spread music all around it passes. so imagine a kind of big flying machine with some big big baffles... I don't know if it would be very hard to design something like that on computer.
it also could work the same concept but on a larger scale... a music spaceship spreading the song!

Agree. The whole recreating old ideas thing worked really well on Powerpack, would work on one of the others, too. I'd like to see the band try and make the Multilateral video. (y)

I can totally have the PootyTang cameo as long as someone can hook me up with "mugshot" style high-res images of him to create the face texture. Also I think maybe everyone is right about Tadlocks, it is underrated and bad as a mother-scratch-er, so I thought about a Mad Scientist motif starring the Intergalactic characters with maybe beakers and chemistry style props in a spaceship or dungeon setting. Also, anyone else who might like to appear in the video somewhere, send me high-res images of you from the neck up, facing forward, no expression, mouth closed, and same thing for a left facing photo as well, think "mugshot"! And I will see what I can do for casting once more ideas develop. Hit me back Laver if you can hook up the PootyTang images!

Great feedback and thanks for the props! Love me some Breaking Bad, but not sure about too much pop culture. The problem with that is that it goes stale pretty quick. I do dabble in retroactive animation in relation to current topics, but I keep the fan-vids separate from the soapbox-vids, if you will. Cooking in a lab will most likely be the motif, just not meth, it's the Devil :eek: Thanks again for the input!
