VH1 Classic is celebrating the 30th anniversary of MTV all weekend. They are playing hour long blocks of clips from the past 30 years. The hour that I'm watching now (on TiVO) has the beasties "hosting" showing old clips of them running around the City causing general mayhem. Great stuff.

It was hour 4, to be rerun at 9PM EST tonight (Saturday). VH1 Classic.

How old is the footage of them hosting? What era??

It's LTI-PB era footage far as I can tell. Their not actually "hosting" but the first clip was when they were guest VJs back in the day, then they show old clips thoughout the hour of them Fab 5 Freddy and Hurricane, running around NYC in the snow, etc.

It was just on right now and I see it's just the older stuff... Oh well I still watched it! My man MCA's got a beard like a billy goat!!!!!!!!!! wooooo-hooooooooo!
