Genre clashing movies.

I was talking about this at work with some guys. Seems like they are running out of ideas for movies these days with the amount of sequels and comic books movies that just keep coming out.

And then with cowboys versus aliens, combining two distinct favored genres in americans movies we started thinking about what genres we would like to see clash. (with the idea also kind of taken from alien vs. predator)


ik it was already a video game but i think it would be a cool movie if they could get some sort of legit plot/story line out of it...Mortal Kombat vs. DC. This could also be done with DC vs. Marvel characters.

the avengers vs. the dark side (jason, freddie, predator, alien)

home alone vs. the predator. Paint cans and bricks all up in that fuckers face.

i think this thread doesnt have a lot of legs as home alone v predator is the winner. I can see predator(or not see) him putting his foot thru the nails, its a funny picture.

the more i think about it, its a fucking brilliant idea, I would look forward to the "you filthy animal" bit but i think joe pesci should still be in it and predator has just basically replaced the tall one (daniel stern?).
