Whoa, Whoa... With a grain of salt.... We're all here for the same thing. You'll have to admit #1Fan, you've kinda been the party crasher lately, but really, you could be a likeable (is that a word?) person, just lay back a bit, make some friends, take the jabs as they come, nobody here is a serious hater. Not that I really think I have to get started on this discussion, but without influence wed have no Beasties to begin with. Where do you think they got their original rap act from? Someone has probably already raised this argument but it didnt just materialise out of thin air, it came from other rap crews such as Run DMC and Grandmaster Flash before them to name a few cause I can't be bothered getting overly in depth.

Their punk stuff came from Minor Threat, Bad Brains. Art influences art. Not saying that Sum 41 are art, but there was nothing wrong what they did, repping elements of the Beastie Boys style and merging it with then contemporary punk of the late 90s/early 00s.

But yeah, pretty out of date topic.
