Recently been listening to some classic hiphop albums 5 micers etc pref early 90;s through to late which i've never heard i was wondering if anyone can list some more worthy of a listen which may have been slept on. Forgive me if there's already a thread about this i only recently joined up.

Freestyle fellowship: inner city griots
souls of mischief: 93 till infinity
pete rock and cl smooth: mecca and the soul brother
hieroglyphics: 3rd eye vision
Ahmad: Ahmad
aceyalone: all balls don't bounce, with bonus tracks
jungle brothers: done by the forces of nature
Guru: jazzmataz any vol

To name a few ill put some more up. Some of you will already love these classics but some may never have heard em, only the mainstream rubbish we get these days

You'd probably like Siah and Yeshua Da Poed's EP. It was re-issued on CD a couple years ago. It's in that same jazz-based hip hop vein.

I recently pulled Digable Planets "reachin" back out of the cd case. Not sure it's classic but the first 6 tracks are $$$$

digable planets are awesome(y) love their sound. Didn't they win a grammy back in the day?
