As being a journalist. She got a new job for public relations in a big Jewish hospital. The pay is better and the benefits are better as well.
I'm happy for her. She came to the states after living with me in Kuwait and dealing with all of the things I brought home from going to Iraq.
While being a journalist here, she's seen more death and made reports on it. She was constantly on her feet, running from here to there to cover stories. Sometimes she would have no stories to cover so she had to walk around and find whatever and it sometimes wouldn't make the paper.
She had no set hours. A lot of times she would go to work at 9am and wouldn't get off till 1am.
Now she will have a 9-5 job. No stress and more money with much more benefits.
Me? I would love to have her journalist job, I love all of the switching from repetitive work.
I'm just happy for her. She has been the happiest that I have seen her since she has been in the states.
