I'm running 5 km in Hyde Park, London next Sunday to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis unit at my hospital where I go for a lot of my care.

I'm especially proud to be doing this as I have been quite poorly over the past years with lung infections and so forth. Running is prescribed as a way to keep on top of my health and it seems to be working, for now. :o

Here is the link to my Just Giving page:

I know times are hard for everyone, but just wish me luck if nothing else!

Thanks :)

Sponsored. Kinda poor right now so only can do £5.

Can I put a small mention here for a 10k I'm running next month for Amnesty International? http://www.justgiving.com/adamgarretty

All I'm asking is £1 from those who WANT to sponsor - very modest target but it's Amnesty's 50th year and one of the first charities I fully embraced and supported.

I'm not charging anyone, I'm raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis unit at my hospital.:)

I have cystic fibrosis and have been quite ill over the past couple of years as a result of it so I'm quite proud of the fact that I'm able to take part in this run.

Thanks for the good wishes, everyone (y)

Holy cow you didn't have to do that much, but thank you very much. I will run extra fast!

Hey, it went really well thanks! I ran most of it, which is quite an achievement for me.

I've so far raised 133%! My clinic is so pleased with me. They are awaiting funds to undergo a big refurb and every little helps...

A lot of CFers have to go in for lengthy stays for IV treatments. I've been twice so far. Hope I won't have to go again for a while, but if they manage to refurbish the place it will be a lot more pleasant to stay in for a few days.

Thanks for the support!(y)
