Serie A kicks off today (as i type) with the Milanese giants taking on lazio.
The score is 2-2 at the moment (almost half time). Lazio went up 2-0 with goals by Klose and Cisse. Klose's was a peach. Beautiful first touch. I rate him quite high as a player. he was a great signing. Cisse was also a good signing in my opinion.
Then came back Milan with goals by Ibra! and Cassanno!. Aqualani made the pass to cassano who assisted ibra, and also assisted cassanos goal. Forza MILAN!!!

Juventus pound Parma today 4-1.
Pirlo put in a vintage performance. 2 fantastic assists. chipped balls of 20 yards or so right into his players paths perfectly weighted.
i wasnt necessarily happy Milan let him go. he is a 1 in a million talent as i like to say. he may be losing it physically and may not be able to cover defensively like he once did but his ability to connect the defense and attack is immeasurable. also his ability to create goal scoring opportunities is vital.
i would have kept him and let gattuso and ambrosini walk. then brought in younger legs (possibly vidal before juve got him/gago/lass diara/mamhamadou diarra (all surplus real madrid goods ik, but i digress) to cover pirlo defensively.

pato scores 25 seconds in. silva in the 92nd and Milan come away from the nou camp with a 2-2 tie. minus ibra and robinho.
touches from the Milan players looked like sunday pub league players for most of the game but they pull it out.
35 year old Alessandro Nesta was fucking fantastic today.
Barca dominated the play as expected. Milan defended superbly for the first 35 minutes until barca scored then looked shaky at times. but im still quite happy with the result.
FORZA MILAN!!!!

Inter lose today to newly promoted Novara. That leaves them winless in all competitions on the year.
No calciopoli, no more winning for Inter.

inter looking like complete shit in the league. love it. got rocked 3-0 by napoli today.
they are suffering much from what milan was the years after 2007. from kings of europe to struggling because of a lack of reinforcements.
big tilt tomorrow, AC Milan v. Bumventus!!!!

Milan with the massive comeback this morning.
I was up bright and early at 6 am to watch. And was sickened by the first half display. Down 3-0 to Lecce and just looked like shit.
At half time aqua man and Kevin Prince Boateng are subbed on. Within 18 mins Prince has a hatrick and then they end up getting the winner from Mario Yepes and take the game 4-3.
Awesome game. Detractors of serie A really don't know what they are missing!!

yea i saw that. was thoroughly entertained. it was an awesome goal, some ronaldinho in his prime type of stuff.
but as happy as i would have been if we won, im actually more happy we lost. it shows how close we are to one of the top if not the top team in the world right now .
but it also shows we need some reinforcements in the transfer window. defiantly a leftback, zambrotta does not cut it on that level anymore. and a defensive/central midfielder with more life in his legs than van bommel.
but i was proud of the effort, went toe to toe with them and had a good amount of scoring chances.
talks of tevez's agent in milan for talks of a loan move. 5 million for rest of year, and 20 after to buy outright. which is a real good deal considering they wanted 40/50 earlier in the year. say what you want about your feelings for milan the shrewdness they show in the transfer market is up there with Arsenal, besides the fact milan dont sign kids and sign established stars (some too 'established' at times). tevez is cup tied though which sucks the dick.

its not a good deal.
it means you would end up with carlos tevez in your side, he always wants to be top dog which is gonna cause problems in that side. he'll score goals but he will cause you headaches i bet. I'm glad when he's out of the PL.
maybe he'll turn a new leaf in a new country but i doubt it. twat of the highest order.

agree a bit. but in all honestly we have had robinho and ibra for a year and a half and cassano for a year...and zero problems (paying a total of 45/50 million for the 3 of them combined mind you, excellent deals). i would like to think that trend would continue with tevez and the powers that be could keep him in line, but who's to know.
also tevez just wanted to be closer to his family he now has got that.

i dont know anything about cassano but i see what you are saying. However I reckon there's something a bit eccentric and unpredictable about robinho and ibrahimovizzle which i think a team/manager can handle. But there's something a bit more calculated, childish , arrogant, selfish, deceitful, and underhand about Tevez (and probably his agent) that I think unsettles teams, managers and fans too much.
And he's not that closer. There is still the matter of a fucking enormous amount of water to fly over.
anyway fuck him.

Ik, that second part was a joke. He's literally 1km closer to his family by being in milan rather than manchester, that is not a joke.
