I loved their two mix tapes...saw them live a few months back...I haven't picked the new album up yet, but I'm definitely going to when I get paid. I know Rainbow In The Dark is on Relax though....I've probably listened to that song 3,000 times. It's dope.

Great album...it strikes a good balance between the 'out there' of their mixtapes, and mainstream stuff. Best tracks are Michael Jackson, Power, Rainbow In The Dark, and Brand New Dance.

They're hitting town next month. They put on a seriously ill live show...I might have to catch 'em (for the second time).

Had a great time at their show a couple weeks ago! Too bad it seemed like the audience was mainly comprised of 35 year old hipsters on 2nd dates with each other. "honey, would you like another drink? stay right here and continue not moving at all, yes, please do not dance or move to the beat in any way". but that's chi town, nobody dances. I was dancing like an idiot and throwing my hands up like I knew what I was doing. :p


Dudes were definitely stoned and/or drunk as fuuuck by the time they went on, and the DJ was drunk and high. It was kinda sweet though, they let him rap a part in one of the songs and he looked so happy. Lacuna was his name...I can't find him on the internet though, maybe I'm spelling it wrong.

I'm going to start listening to more rap, I had more fun at that show than any show I've been to in the last few years.

ha, I just came back to correct myself, missed this post. "lacuna's in the house" is what I thought they were saying instead of "Lakutis in the house". I like Lakutis as a name better.
