This sounds soooo good live. Very tight. What could have been...and what hopefully will be one day!

Are they playing live instruments there? Sounds pretty good vocally considering.

Yeah Mike in particular, on the drums, with the vocals. It's like the pay-off for the experimentation of the TMU tour. (y)

Do they not have the backup drummer for the instrument tracks where mike does vox anymore?

Yes Fredo drums on tracks, but not on Lee Majors. The image on the video is from another show, presumably another song.

Not to insult Mike's drumming ability but that live track sounds like Fredo or Amery in my opinion.

It won't be; it definitely sounds too loose to be either Fredo or Amery, but tight all things considered. He drummed and did semi vox on Time for Livin (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_GD5u_gE_g) on Get Out and Vote. They spent the TMU tour getting it dialled. You know this, Lave.
Lave do you have a favourite Wu-Tang album cover?

wonder how many tunes from hsc started life in the mix up sessions.? makes me think that they might have held on some tracks for hsc?
although lee majors sounds like it could have been on most of their albums.

Yeah man fully. The secret ingredient was getting out on the road and diving into the back catalogue. TMU was almost part of the writing process for HSC in so many ways.

Man this is awesome. I really hope that when they tour again they play 8-9 songs from hscpt2 instead of 3-4.

never thought of that. it explains why so many of the tunes on hsc reminded many of older albums. I'd say that after IC every album has been a bit of a departure from the last until this one.

Yep...it was definitely Mike on the drums for Lee Majors live at the Orange Peel. I never doubted you KP (lb)
And probably Liq n' Swords to answer the Wu-Tang question.
