Unfortunately I'll have to make do with bones being plated and wired together again.
I have an operation tomorrow in my local hospital to pin back my badly broken arm and wrist. I don't mind the pain or the actual operation but particularly not looking looking forward to the anesthetic knocking me out and that weird feeling of 'wtf' when they bring you back around. This will be the first surgery where the will be no one but nurses there when I wake. I remember last time shouting for morphine even though I couldn't feel a thing.
I wish this was like Deus Ex and I woke to find that I had telescopic fingers or at the very least a finger that was a USB pen drive, but that's the NHS for you.
