I just checked to see if I qualify for food stamps, and I don't...but I figured out that you qualify if you make under $10/hr and work full time. Which is nuts to me. I figured in a $1500/month gross pay, and that came up with eligibility for $166/month in food money. Which I think is too much.

That being said, I don't think the guy in the video represents the average food stamp recipient. And he's also joking around. The problem isn't the recipient, it's the system. and the system is dumb, and it won't get better until people stop blaming the victims. yes, I'm calling poor people victims. how much do you think the CEO of Frito Lay makes peddling snacks to millions of poor people? If you look at their investor page, they say it's a 13 billion dollar business.
