we have a different mayor now. this is tied to Daley's people, and it's something that was planned in 1994.

I never said my city wasn't corrupt, but people are working hard to change that. People are getting caught all the time now, before it was all behind the scenes...but honestly, people are sick of it. Especially when our sales tax is so high. but they kicked out the dude who raised the sales tax to 10.25%, and got it down to 9.75%. still shitty though.

things are turning over, slowly but surely. The CTA president is a good guy, he's cutting out a bunch of overpaid positions and streamlining everything. The train station by my house got cleaned up for the first time in probably 15 years. They're putting people to work and in an efficient manner. The whole remodel only took a few days.
