I watched the documentary titled, "Fat, Sick, and nearly dead" and I'm convincing myself that I want to do this diet.
Yesterday was my birthday and I want to try something new. I have gained more weight than I wanted to and losing 30 pounds is a goal for me.
The diet basically consists of drinking nothing but vegetable juices for 60 days, 5-6 times a day.
I have a juicer already so what I will do is make 2 drinks at home and while at work, there is a 24-7 juice shop that I will hit up.
If I'm successful, I will post before and after pics.

Sounds like one of those fad diets that is neither good for you, or works. You'll get sick of it after 7-10 days at most. I never understood diets, I mean, I've never had to, but what's so hard about eating 3 decent meals a day and keeping active?
Anyway, good luck with whatever you try!

I hate to say it, but i agree 100% with helvete. No doubt it'll do you good, but as soon as you get back onto real food you'll probably find you have the same issues. Just adjust slightly. No wish to dishearten you, and i do indeed wish you luck. ;)

This seems to be a legit diet and I know I could stick to it. I once went 3 months eating nothing but beef jerky, boiled eggs, a can of tuna and a pickle.
If you watch the doc, you can tell it's legit. No strings and it makes sense.

No doubting it's legit, it just concerns me that once your body starts to get carbs and proteins and fats again it's gonna hoard them. Like it'll act as if it has been starved of them. And you need them too. Everything in moderation. Fresh fruit and veg are essential but so are the rest. Just keep an eye on your health if you're determined to see it through the 2 months.
I guess a detox is always good though..looking at the positives and contradicting myself completely!

good luck!
I can burn off pounds pretty easily - I have a feeling this fall will deliver that with much less money (school, crappy p/t job, childcare)
plus I'm preparing a workout regime considering we cancelled cable t.v. because being a couch potato sucks.

Good luck bro. You'll be shitting through the eye of a needle, though.
