I've still got a few xlarge tees knocking about in the bottom of a wardrobe somewhere. I remember wearing them pretty baggy so I doubt I'll be wearing them anytime soon.

Yeah, I have a few XL XL tees too. They'll be in the oldest musty box I own probably and like all my clothes right now, far too big for me.

Maybe cause I'm in Japan, but I have seen X-Large everywhere. Actually, I got an XL bag --stole it from my friend, more like borrowed it-- just the other week. It came free with an XL catalogue. X-Girl is even more popular... seen on kids, even boys to young adults. XL just opened a store here in Chatan, Okinawa!
