How sick would it have been if they released a double album? I would have loved it but im sure there is plenty of members here who like it as is(Not saying I don't like Pt. 2). Anyways I just watched the interview with Adrock where he said it was almost a done deal. With everything that has been going on with MCA and all when do you think Pt. 1 will be released knowing that the songs have already been recorded? I know I'm greedy.

They already released Pt. 1 as a free download to members of the mailing list.

I like how on 'Miracles' they asked about magnets and then accused scientists of lying in the same breath. It was certainly a refreshing change from Part Two.

On another note, I'm kinda interested to hear the original album mix. I'm not sure why, as I love HSC how it is, but maybe an official leak in a few years time would be a nice oddity.

As for the other songs, I think there is only so much new material you can release when you're in an (regrettably) inactive status as a band. It was good of them to put HSC out, I believe they wanted it out there as much as the fans.

if the mix on the original release of Too Many Rappers is any evidence as to the quality of the other "original mix" mixes, then I wouldn't expect much from them. IMO, that mix was remarkably inferior; not just to the re-mixing by Zdar, but just in general. I remember being kinda bummed when I first downloaded that single from iTunes and it was all muffled and muddy sounding.

I could be wrong, but it sounded like Z-Trip used an OG mix of Make Some Noise on the mix thing he did and it sounded sorta limp compared to whatever older stuff was playing before it.

And you know the Zdar/HSC2 version has the nuts, that's why my theory. Put the Zdar/HSC2 version beside anything in the catalogue and it goes.

So it's likely they were the original mixes is my point. If the mix had been ready to go since Z-Trip first announced it ages ago, it's possible.

Do you mean original mixes by the version that would have been in stores or by un finished(for that time) mixes?

I don't know. It seems too unfinished. Whatevs we got the ultimate version now and thats all that matters. Weird though sometimes I listen to the z-trip version over the current cause it sounds cool how its all ghetto.

Yeah we'll never know how much was added to the shit between the break and the eventual release.

Then you weren't chosen sadly. Only certain people make the cut. I'm not sure how we are chosen and what by but that's the way it is. So you didn't get the D-mix of Make Some Noise either? That sucks. If only the contracts allowed us to release the files...

When it's only sent to select people, is it only those people ever then? Or will they send out more eventually?

Well maybe at some point again. That sucks not being able to get the "Digital Grab Bags" from them. I still die in anticipation for the third Friday of every month :o.
