was hanging out with some trusted California advisers on the golf course and the most interesting thing they were bitching about was a federal stimulus package put together to rebuild the bridges in California. They were upset because they are saying that the stimulus money is contingent upon the steel being purchased from china. Other points are that California steel plants and their workers need work, the steel from china is lower grade and will need replacement sooner and the transportation of the steel is not Eco friendly. Allegedly the steel from china clause came as a result of a great lobbyist for china.

This was shit we talked about on the golf course while drinking beer, so no trusted link, but I am pretty sure my source is money.

do you mean like Obama and company giving loans to an Al Gore backed electric car company so that they can build electric cars in another country?
