there's only like 2 or 3 people that i know including myself that have power. schools have already cancelled the whole week of classes. there's cars lining up 50 strong at gas stations that actually have power. the most devestating snow storm in my life time and all the snow's gonna all be gone in a couple days. it's already hitting the 50's and 60's. this is some weird fucking shit.

someone said that this was the same storm that hit colorado where it was 80 degrees the day before and then they got 13 fucking inches of snow. it tracked all the way across the country.

Over here we have had the warmest October since the 50s (y)

we've had a very warm couple of months too. that's why this storm was such a big problem because all the trees still have their leaves. the weight of all the snow sticking to the leaves has caused a lot of problems with trees falling onto power lines and everything else. there's no trees in my neighborhood because of a tornado we had last summer. that's probably why there's still power in my neighborhood.

sorry to hear, Turd. Springfield has gotten hit hard this year. Tornados, hurricanes, now a snow storm? hope you're ok. We only got an inch or so here in Boston...

they're saying that power will not be back till saturday for those affected in certain areas. people are starting to freak out. there's people at work that haven't been able to shower and don't have heat and can't cook anything. it gets below freezing at night. they're so fucking miserable. they all hate my guts because it's like nothing even happened in my neighborhood. i made the suggestiong to open up a gym membership to go use the showers and they're so desperate that they're actually thinking about it.

I was one of the lucky ones whose biggest problem was not being able to order out the day after the storm because no one had power. I was craving chinese damnit! My sister and nephew stayed at my place because they lost power. I didn't even have to clear off my car my sisters husband did it for me. I felt like such a spoiled bitch. I know people who still have no power and whose kids have had no school the whole week and tomorrow was already cancelled. what a mess.
