Beastie Boys' Adam Horovitz, aka Ad-Rock, is dabbling in a growing pool of side hustles. Fresh off an appearance on the Bravo cooking competition show "Just Desserts", XXL points to the news that he's scored an Off-Broadway play.

Written by his father, the playwright Israel Horovitz, the dark comedy is called Gloucester Blue, "about a man who returns home after a long absence and encounters all manner of infidelities and murders." The Barefoot Theatre Company will stage the play November 16-December 3 at the Cherry Lane Theater in New York City.

Congrats to Adam H! He's pretty much in the spotlight these days, not bad for a birthday loop. ;)
What I've always loved the most about him, and MCA, MikeD as well, is their multitasking/eclectic/ingeniously funny & wisely traits. Those could be find in their lyrics, in their music, art (movies, plays, shows ..) in general, even in their interviews, and I bet in their everyday life. Someone once said "Heavy subjects are easier to swallow as light meals.", and it's true, just there are very few people who can actually do that. This super trio not only that can, they go even further, they're moving the boundaries .. hence they make me, as a fan, happy and proud each and every time. Thank you guys ♥♥♥
