Dallas (CNN) -- A Texas judge faces a police investigation and judicial probe after a video showing him beating his then-16-year-old disabled daughter was posted on the Internet.

The graphic video drew international outrage after it was posted by a woman who said she was the victim of the beating seven years ago and that her parents -- including her father, Aransas County, Texas, Court-At-Law Judge William Adams -- were the ones seen beating and cursing at her in the video.

^wtf? Valvano, you're such a shitty person, it's unbelievable.

that was sad, I hope he loses his job. reminded me of my dad, good thing I wasn't a teenager under his roof. I was too young to get really beat before we left, but I still suffer anxiety from dealing with his unpredictable temper. My friend was beaten severely by his father when he was a teenager and finally escaped when he was 18. These things shouldn't happen...I will never understand the sickness behind abusive parents.

The amount of people trying to justify this is ridiculous.

Saw this on Nancy Grace yesterday. I know a lot of people hate her but she can be effective in ruining people's reputation. Her exact words last night were "Judge Adams I am coming for you and I am bringing lady Justice with me."

I am so glad the girl set it all up and filmed it herself because she knew she was going to be beat again and said that if she hadn't done that then nobody would have believed her. Good for her. Supposedly since so many years have passed they might not be able to do anything now (according to Texas Law) but either way his reputation is ruined. I do hope the fucker gets all of the bad luck in the world. Somebody needs to whip his ass to a bloody pulp.

I remember my dad telling me .. "Go get the belt" and "This is going to hurt me more than it hurts you..."

I hope I never am in a position where I have to discipline my children by spanking them, but those kids better learn.

anyway, i hate to judge this guy at all ... but I was thinking, "shit this guy must have been drinking."
