Hey folks,

I just moved in with my GF and no longer have wall space. I'd rather give this poster to someone who will appreciate it than let it just sit in a closet. This is a fully signed poster from one of the best televised concerts of the $2 Bill series on MTV2. The concert was held on June 9, 2004 at the classic venue of the Huntridge Theater in Las Vegas.

The poster is in mint shape with clear, bold, authentic signatures by all 3 of the B Boys. I worked for MTV and got this signed myself. It's nicely matted and framed with a protective acrylic glass.

The poster measures 18.25" x 26.25" at the outside of the frame.

A great gift to celebrate their induction into the HoF. If you want to see some pics, check out the link where I'm also listing it on Craigslist:

http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/clt/2748902277.html

$300 + postage and I'll pack it up and ship it to you.

Shoot me a PM if you are interested.

Thanks!

this poster will sell off his item and never return.

he wants to "give it to someone who will appreciate it" and yet he is charging $300. in essence, an autograph hound whether he worked for MTV or not.

in my opinion, not a great intro to the fan community.

carry on

He is charging $300 not $3000. It's an autograph poster matted and framed....geeesh.

so why not charge around $100 if we are setting arbitrary numbers this holiday season? my point was more about joining the message board to spam an item off more than bitching about the price. he wants a fan to appreciate it then he copies the ad from Boston craigslist verbatim. doesn't sound like a fan looking out for another fan- looks like some guy trying to make a quick buck. I still think that's a bit high. we will see what the market dictates.

It almost makes me want to give away a signed and laminated Mix Master Mike Chicago themed Adidas poster to any bbmb member who might agree with me.

Thanks JasonP. Its a nice poster that I am just looking to unload to someone who would enjoy it. I got the poster signed for a client when I was at MTV and they never took it

Turch, you got a lot of rage inside, huh?

I am just trying to make a quick buck. I dont think I represented myself any other way. I never said that I was "a fan looking out for fans". I paid almost $150 to have the poster framed in NYC so I dont think my price is unreasonable. If you want to give your stuff away, that's cool.

I'm not sure what "autograph hound" is but I doubt I am one. With the exception of a baseball autographed by Joe Mccarthy (Boston Braves, 1949) that my dad gave me, this is the only autograph thing I own.

I certainly didnt intend to insult anyone by posting this as a Newbie. I'm not as hardcore as you guys, but I am a fan. I grew up in NY listening to Chuck Chillout and DJ Red Alert on KISS-FM in NYC. I was listening when the Beastie Boys first got on the radio.

I'd just like to give it a nice home.

Hit me up

i think 300$ is a great price!!! especially if he paid over 100 to frame it...i mean common' the fuckin BEASTIE BOYS signed it!!!!!! thats worth a lot more than 300$$ in my book.
