Yep, likewise. Would have been refreshingly unconventional, as they always open with slammers. Although classics as well I might add. But I think Tadlock's draws you in, B-Boys settles you down, and Make Some Noise takes off... Perfect opening trio.

And while I am at it, I think my favorite Mike D. record is Hello Nasty.

On balance its a crazy strong album and unlike TT5B, which I thought was a very good album but there were some cuts I liked MUCH more then others (which I liked too, just not nearly as much), HSCpt2 is solid head to toe for me. Just appreciating...

1. Long Burn The Fire. All three Boys are at the top of their game on this one.
2. Don't Play No Game. I think I like it so much because it's so unlike anything else they've done.
3. Say It. The bassline on this one is drenched in fuzz - love it. Reminds me of the Check Your Head era. Mixed emotions about this one post-Yauch's passing though (Life is good and then it gets you; Stuff you thought, it comes true) :(

and it's a toss up for 3rd place... "OK" makes me smile and shake my ass whenever I hear it, but "Funky Donkey" is wicked fun and I love hearing Mike D's kids on there!

We all waited so long for this album... felt like lifetimes... but when I finally heard "Make Some Noise" it was worth the wait.... so now it's just too hard to pick - I love it AAAAALLLLLLLL!!! lol :p
