Yep that's the sax player I mentioned about a week or so ago... He has a thing for the Beasties! He's doing a show tonight, or did a show and will tribute them tomorrow too. LUV it!

Karl Denson makes some pretty ill jazz/soul. certainly cool that he put the effort into this, though it is always a bit lackluster watching other guys rap the bboys parts other than beasties themselves. no disrespect to Karl in the least though; dude is funky acceptional.(y)

yeah, I kind of liked the rehearsal video better and I dig what he is doing.

I'm sure their instrumental interpretations were top notch, but I'm going to have to co-sign with McDuff.

I would pay $10 or $15 bucks to see this act at a club.

This would have probably been alot cooler if they stuck with the original idea of just doing Ill Communication like he said in that video.

Seeing dudes up there doing fight for your right and no sleep instantly makes it feel kind of corny to me. Still looks like fun though.
