I'm on a roll lately. I'm going for 10 posts here haha.
We forum-goers often have that forum (obviously for most of you it's here), but there are forums where the reason you got interested in the first place isn't why you're still there.
For me, it's a mixed martial arts forum. I frequently watch fights, I love watching the fights, but I'm still there for the friendships that have transferred into real life. I don't necessarily post there for the MMA anymore.
What makes one attach to a forum, I wonder. I'm extremely attached to my small group on the MMA site, even though I have a booming social life, I don't necessarily need to talk to these people, but I find myself sharing things about me, etc. I often go to some for advice, and many come to us with advice.
Just rambling at this point.
