you want to shit on the US?!?!?
Unpaid interns in start-ups are big over there right now.
You won't be able to earn any money but once you're in, it'll be easier then getting sponsorship for a visa and eventually residency.
Or get married.

internships are the best thing ever. so easy to get what you want if you are a student and willing to do internships. AKA free labor.
As a college student I did a few, never made allot, but it was easy to get into positions I never would have if I wanted to earn real money. My favorite: I spent a year in D.C. as a paid intern and came home after a year about $600 in debt, but had been all over the capital and worked for the Chair of the Intelligence Committee. Never would of happened if I was applying for a job, but as an intern it was easy to get in. Finally lead me to getting appointed by a Three Star General; to work as their personal agent, not an intern, but would have never happened without internships. Also, I think it may have messed my head up a little.
Do all the internships you can while you can. Go be an intern for Something you love in the USA.

I could use a Kramerica Industries-style intern to do my laundry and stuff. Accepting applications now.

And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up!
next to you and defend her still today.
Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA!
USA! USA! I love Amerca! Amerca!
