Why do crave positive affirmation for fairly insignificant accomplishments?

Would a bald eagle pull a whitey if it was to have a toke?

Pady,

Having never smoked, how does/can the herb help with pain?

For the last 6+ months I've had debilitating sciatic nerve pain than has seriously changed my life. I've tried, vicodin, morphine, soma, ibuprofen, percoset, aleve, a couple different muscle relaxers, and good old fashioned alchohol.. nothing has touched the pain. Seriously, I take pills and feel exactly the same. Alcohol does help a bit, but I'd prefer not to become an alchoholic if I can help it.

Physical therapist gave up on me last week, told me she couldn't help me any more and not to make another appointment. I won't be able to get another spinal shot for another month.

Would it be worth it to ask for a Medical Marry Jane card and try that? Or is it just likely to be like everything else and a waste of time and money?

Honest answer man, I'm hurtin' over here... I'm not some dirty hippie over here tryin' to score some legal weed, I need some help. I live in California, so it's not an issue to ask a doctor.

Anyone else? I know you're not all doctors, but lend a hand.

Oh and feel free to PM me so as not to hijack Pady's thread about being a big fat quitter. :p

Gracias Amigo.

^Try it.

The hit is instant on the first time and you'll know if it's for you or not.

If you like it too much, stick to the recommended dose and regulate yourself.

it's a gateway drug (http://boingboing.net/2012/05/02/tom-the-dancing-bug-medical.html?utm_source=dl)

As with any substance - when it effects those around you then it's when there is a problem. Pot has such an annoying culture around it and I think that is the reason most people quit. It's the first drug as a teenager and then you lose 5 years as a pot head. If you're already an adult then it's easier.

Yeah give it a go.

You are so fricken lucky you are able to get a medical marijuana card at all - that shit does not exist here.

So take advantage of it!!!! It might help.

that shit does not exist here.

I often get the impression that UK and Australia are akin with culture, policing etc and in the UK it's not like it's hard to get hold of it or conceal it.

As long as you're not stupid and decide to spark up and blow smoke into a cops face then you're normally good.

I guess they don't drug test at work there too like in the states? Or do they?

edit: but yes, still /vote legalise it and the quality and price becomes better.
