This bittersweet period continues. But with this brilliant effort it makes it a little sweeter

This album has only left the CD player from my car twice. Once to rip it to MP3 for my player at work and once when I had to take my wife's car to work. I seriously love this album and listen to it nearly every day.

I personally think its one of their worst albums, only 2 good songs on it, its nowhere near as good as Pauls Boutique or Check your head, I seriuosly cant understand how people think its a good album.

Is there anyone else who thinks its a lame album?

Make Some Noise & Lee Majors Come Again. All the other songs bore me and I cant seem to get to like them.

I honestly think that you're the first person I've seen that said they didn't like the album. Sorry you won't find any support from me on the matter, it's in my top 3.

Top three for me too! I don't know any fans that think it's lame. Some have expressed that they don't like it as much as previous albums but I've not heard that word used to describe it.

I still vividly remember the live stream from MSG. That was so damn cool. I hadn't been that excited about a new album in a long time and I just couldn't believe how fresh it sounded. Yauch made the ablum for me. Sigh.

Best album since Hello Nasty, imo, even though I love and listen to all their albums on different occasions. DPNGTICW is one of my favorite BB tracks ever :) And I can listen to Funky Donkey, HALSFY and many more of them over and over. Great album from beginning to end though! Yauch really shines on it.

Very very sad to not be able to see MCA perform this AMAZING album live. Would have been extremely intersting to see :( He was TOP NOTCH on this album.

A couple of days ago I just wanted to drop in this thread, doing my regular crazy post, wishing a happy birthday to the Hot Sauce Committee...1 year later, I can't believe what's happening, Yauch leaves....it was your ultimate joke my man Flint...Hornblower planned it all!!!!!

I love this album so much, but now when I listen to it I can't help but feel overwhelmingly sad. I know Adam wouldn't want it to be that way, but since it's their last recorded album while Adam was with us it deeply saddens me.

So many of these songs were built to be performed live, it's amazing. I suppose we can only imagine the performances in our heads. I'll always cherish this album but right now it's tough.

It's the hardest one of their albums to listen to at the moment.

A Year And a Day...(lb)

yeah KP Nonstop Disco Powerpack and Long Burn The Fire speak to their legacy and it so hard to accept.

^

its ironic(?) to me how he passed THE DAY after the one year anniversary of the last album put out by the three and THE DAY before the airing of their induction to the RNR hall of fame.

also how i hear he went into the hospital the day of the ceremony.
