And that being said, I would like to talk to express how this feels. I know there's so many threads posted already but I just have so much to say. First of all, my respects to Adams beautiful wife and daughter your husband is a true hero nothing short of it. My respects to Mr and Mrs Yauch, I'm so sorry for the loss of your son I give you my absolute best wishes. My respects to Adam Horovitz and Michael Diamond his brothers, I can't imagine what you're going through. Standing behind you is the largest mass of fans to ever exist. Second of all, I would like to pay my respects to Sarah (MsPacMan) for the beautiful project you created all in honour of this man. You are a remarkable woman. Last but not least, to the golden MC himself Sir Adam Yauch, Nathaniel Hornblower, MCA, you simply being yourself set off confidence in me to do what's right and to make this world a little better with the power I have. Your influence on me isn't even something one could describe in words, your lyrics, your productions, your generosity, your compassion, your charisma, your humour, your sincerity and your intelligence blow my mind. You make the definition of an angelic person still hold truth. Nobody has ever motivated me like you and your brothers have. In your honour here on out through my whole life commit to things that I know would make you proud because I don't see how anyone wouldn't want to be like you. I lost my idol today, and I wish I could make anyone in pain through this feel at their brightest I would if I could but my best ability is to pay my respects and never lose that place in my heart for a man so devoted to his morality. Rest in peace Adam, you will be so greatly missed. I'm so sorry for everyones loss. Xoxo

You deserve to be in there, thanks to you I did something for Yauch before I wouldn't have the chance.

Thank you for replying to this, your support and kind words have my watering up again. I could go on and on to his family of how lucky they are to have known this man.

Us fans will be a barrier of support to the people at loss today. A universal loss with support everywhere from everybody.

This community is what's got me holdin on, expressing my feelings to those who get why he's so fucking outstanding. (pardon my language).

I adore you all to the highest extent. Our great friend will live on in his legacy forever. <3

He will live on because we will not rest until everyone knows the legend of the great man with the billy-goat beard.

His truth was shown during his Hall speech. Simple and definitive. He knew. Every generation loves a good guy.

When I received the news (via text from a friend) - I was shocked but not surprised. In a way his modesty and grace with his illness helped ease our nerves, he never sensationalize it for good or for bad.

It was crazy, I had uncontrollable tears well up (welling right now), and I just let them come and go as they pleased. Grieving a great musician, artist, and philanthropist is aok.

And this is me, y'all - I MC, y'all
My name is MCA and I still do what I please...
