In the wake of Adam Yauch's passing, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announces that the late rapper will be remembered at the end of the show that airs this Saturday, May 5. A photo of the Beastie Boys star will be shown to close the event with text that reads "In Memory of Adam Yauch".

It's not much, but it's nice that they will be making an effort to remember him. HBO, Saturday May 5th, 9 p.m. EST. I will have my Kleenex handy.

I might start sobbing uncontrollably when his speech is read.

I finally got to see this on an actual tv screen. Ive seen shitty footage of it on YouTube, but my Aunt who has HBO recorded it for me and I got to watch it on her 72inch tv.

I started to tear up again. As soon as I saw Chuck D and LL Cool J I started. It was so hard knowing that Adam was in the hospital at this time and his letter killed me all over again.

My aunt got me a tissue. Haha.

The induction ceremony is the only footage of them I just can not watch anymore. Adrock is holding on by a thread. It tears me up every time.

I am really glad I attended even though I was a mess. I saw my band inducted!!!! I was speechless to be honest. It's strange looking back on that day. I was completely distressed, crying and nervous not even knowing MCA was being admitted into the hospital. My spirit KNEW though. My earthly body didn't get it. Makes so much more sense to me now.

Thank you Sarah, Eric and KHLOE for keeping me SANE on twitter that night!!!!!!!!!! My BB intervention TEAM! :o

I can not imagine what it must have been like to be there in person. To be in the same room with them for that experience. But I know, I would not have made it through it.

I was looking through the MCA Day pics. I would have had to leave once Adam showed up. Especially it being so soon after. It's so crazy that it's been over two months now and I still have to remind myself daily that this is our reality now.

Just sucks.
