I don't know but I'm hoping so. My wife said that we could go to NY if they do.

Yeah, I don't see any kind of public memorial for him.

I wonder if there will be a site where he will be laid to rest so people can bring flowers/visit? I know we don't know that now, just thinking out loud. Not sure what his final wishes were for that. If not then it's okay.

I'm positive that it will never be released to us where he is going to be put to rest. They don't do that most of the time, even when I was in school I had a friend pass away and nobody was told where she was taken. They told us it was because people could vandalize it.

I think it should be Family only... I think (like I would know) he'd want it quiet and personal. Damnit, I can't believe I'm tearing up at this again...

Anyway, I think we should not even worry about it. Let Family and friends have their time and make their peace with this...

The music is what we are here for, and I've been rocking it for decades now, that won't stop... Beastie Boys volume at 11 for 2 days, I'm sure I'm about to be evicted!

If they say where he will be buried, we can go pay our respects later. Let his Family have their time.

You play your stereo loud, it disturbs your neighbors.

it would be in brooklyn, where his parents reside. I feel bad for his parents the most because parents should never have to lay thier children to rest.

I figured since jam master jay had a public funeral, they might for adam.

I don't post here too often but, I feel the need to now for obvious reasons.

I never thought I'd take the news as badly as this. I broke down in tears as soon as I heard. It is comforting to know that many of you out there are feeling the same way though. Also, the positive comments on Adam Yauch all over twitter helps as well. It's great to know that he meant an awful lot to many people.

I think it has to happen before Tuesday, and also i believe that especially as fans that it is appropriate to wait 30 days after the actual burial to visit the burial site.
