Hey

I have been a fan of the Beastie Boys for many years but only joined this forum a few days ago and then the following day the tragic news about Adam was released.

I run a clothing brand called The Breakfast Club (TBCLUB) and we released a Beastie Boys themed tee a week or so ago. We decided to change it slightly, make it limited edition and give at least £10 from each tee sold to Cancer Research UK in memory of Adam Yauch.

If you could help us out and buy a t-shirt that would be hugely appreciated, we would love to be able to hand over a decent amount of money in his honour.

You can buy the t-shirt here:
http://tbclub.bigcartel.com/product/adam-mca-yauch-charity-tee

You can get 20% off the tee today and tomorrow using coupon code "MAY20".

I didn't join the forum with the intention of looking for sales but I am sure you will all understand what a great cause this is.

Much love to all of Adams friends and family at this difficult and sad time.

Paul

It would've been better if you'd used some of Yauch's lines, that one's AdRock's...

Yeah, it's just a line that fits in with our breakfast theme. We had already released the tee a few days ago but thought it would be a good way to raise money for a good cause in his name. If you have any suggestions for lyrics of Adams I would be happy to try and work it in to a design :)

"Life comes in phases take the good with the bad" or "Ive got depth of perception in my text y'all, I get props at my mention cause I vex y'all" because that's damn true every mention if him is nothing but wonderful.

I would want to do something that is specific to salivary gland cancer. Some doctors said this weekend that usually people survive his type cancer and those who don't are in the less than 1% range and it's just a case of bad luck. What are the odds that such a beautiful inspirational person would be in that less than 1%? I shouldn't be surprised. It only seems to happen to the great ones. :(
