I never really used to like Hold It, Now Hit It, but I've spinning the single a lot recently. The bass in the instrumental track is sick. I think they used 808's.

After reading all of that I feel an incredible urge to apologize.

I've been doing that for days :o

Propably one of my favourites on LTI. And love the video! :D

Well, I think that's a super philosophy... I mean that way you could actually go through the rest of your life without ever really knowing anybody.

Nice catch!

Am I supposed to agree with this? For me, the issue is privacy. It goes both ways, too. It's kind of like the word "tacky:" it can apply both to someone who jams a conversation for attention - someone who intrudes into the private enjoyment of others - and someone who points the finger and laughs at them for it.

Anyway, didn't want to be seen as tacitly supporting the idea that 99% of women on the boards, or anywhere else, are crazy.

^ Thank you for this. (y)

Every day I go on the BBMB just to see what's up. And I check it out. I read a few threads, and have a few laughs, and it's great. But you know what the best part of my day is? For about ten seconds, from when I grab my MacBook Pro and when I get to your message board , 'cause I think, maybe I'll click on the link and you won't be there. No goodbye. No see you later. No nothing. You just left. I don't know much, but I know that.

Need to watch this again! Loved his tube socks with his suit :)

I always loved the part where Will and Skylar are on their date and she says, "I know you're hoping for a goodnight kiss." And he says, "I was actually hoping for a goodnight lay." I always thought that was so sweet.

Little insight into my psyche. Don't judge.

I don't know what your reputation is in this town, but after the shit you tried to pull today, you can bet I'll be looking into you.

Now the business we have heretofore you can speak with my aforementioned attorney.

Good day gentlemen, and until that day comes, keep your ear to the grindstone.

I was just reading the posts about old school/new school, females on the message boards being crazy, etc., and it made me sad. For the record, I'm female, 40, and have been on and off the board over the years. My friends aren't Beastie Boys fans like me, though one did go to Paris with me and went to one of two shows, and a couple of others have picked up a quote or two and bring them up because it makes me laugh. I say this only because after Yauch passed away, this became a community where I saw like-minded people who love this band and probably needed a place to go during a rough time. It was special. And the different views and all are great, but I don't think Yauch would want that type of anti-women sentiment. I have no connection to the man (and wouldn't presume I know him) but we all know his famous quote about his "love and respect."

For Yauch's birthday, we should do the same. And, ugh, I'm sorry if I sound sanctimonious...I may prefer crazy :)

Beautifully put.
I was also hurt by that comment, only because I've met a lot of great people over the years of being a Beastie Boy fan, and A LOT of them are females.
So sure, us females also LOVE the Beastie's because of their good looks, but does that make 99% of us crazy?
That was pretty sexist, and your right, Yauch would be offended too.

Bgrrrrrrrrrls UNITE!
