I feel I need to share

Im knew on here but the Beasties have been a part of my life since I can recall. My heart surly as you all can relate was broken. I can't stop watchin all the vids but mostly I want to celebrate the life, the causes and the strength that I have pulled from looking up to MCA. I became a musician and a social worker he taught me how to use my voice through my craft and the attention I get from it. I pulled myself out from the streets alotta nights listen to the albums so life didn't get me down.
I felt I wanted to share this to reach out to this community that knows what Im sayn. Peace , Love and education friends. Thank you Adam and thank you Beastie Boys!

Thanks for sharing, this is really moving. I can relate to you in so many ways, I started listening to the Beasties back in the nineties, when my family was falling apart due to divorce and cancer... I gained a lot of Sstrength from listening to the boys, and I learned (and still do) so much from them. I also picked up the guitar, which I've been playing for more than a decade now (I still suck at it though), much due to their influence. A couple of friends and I decided that we're going to have a one occasion band to play only Beasties to pay our respects to the music we grew up listening to, and to celebrate the life and music of MCA. Stand together everybody!
