Is there anywhere I could find that question&answer he did here in beastieboys.com?? I think it was pre-TT5B, maybe 2002. the questions were done by the message board community... someone saved it? I just remember he replied a lot "i dont know" and "some dumb cop gave me 2 tickets already".

I'd love to read it again. thanks.

The funny thing is that I found it by digging up my old thread where I was looking for it and I had pretty much written the same exact thing you did

Seriously? Hahahaha. Not trying to steal your thunder. That was my question too!! I swear. That's some funny shit.

I figured a dumb ass question would have a better chance of getting answered! Can't believe we both asked it.

What is a good starter book to get into Buddhism?

I DON’T KNOW. I LIKE READING THE DALAI LAMA’S BOOKS. BUT I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND JUMPING IN TOO DEEP. IF YOU ARE CURIOUS WHAT IT IS ABOUT THEN TAKE A LOOK. I GUESS IT’S GOOD TO KNOW A LITTLE ABOUT DIFFERENT THINGS. BUT I DON’T THINK THAT BUDDHISM IS FOR EVERYONE. DIFFERENT STROKES…….

DON’T GET ME WRONG, BUDDHISM MAKES A LOT OF SENSE TO ME, I AM NOT TRYING TO DOWNPLAY THE VALIDITY OR IMPORTANCE OF IT, BUT I JUST GET UNCOMFORTABLE WHEN PEOPLE START ACTING LIKE THEIR RELIGION OR WAY OF LOOKING AT THE WORLD IS THE BEST WAY, OR THE ONLY WAY, AND THEY START PUSHING IT ON PEOPLE. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT SO SOME THINGS ARE BETTER FOR SOME PEOPLE.

So, yeah, this is a good quote to sum up his personality.
