How could you forget Donkey Kong?!

I choose that.

Yes, but it wouldn't compare to playing it on an arcade cabinet.

no,the point is to not play online but to go back to the 80's when the world was better without i-phones and the internet.People are getting run over by lorries because they are transfixed by crapness.

I agree Paul.

I prefer the 90s arcades though. Games with more complexity and nicer-looking graphics. That's the era I grew up in, anyhow.

If I went back to the 80's I wouldn't play games I'd hunt down Mel Gibson and catapult him into space. We really didn't need anything more from him 90's onward.

Plus, his name is Mel

And Frogger.

barring those, Asteroids.

i was born in the early 80s and didn't get into video games until the late 80s early 90s (and yes, i have a small mario addiction, did you know you can upload the old classic mario games to your Wii?!?!!!!)

so i picked pac man, because thats the only one on the list i can remember every playing.

I want to play missile command, although if I traveled back in time to the 80s I would probably concern myself with other important things, such as pretending to predict the future etc.

lemmings! we had that on about 8 (pink) floppy discs, HA! i love it.

my game would be BURGERTIME (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BurgerTime)!

mostly because i have very strong memories of playing it in a pub my parents used to take us to for pub lunches. i would order ham egg and chips and dunk the chips into the egg yolk, then run off and play this. you too can experience this (minus the eggy chip party) by playing this rubbish flash version (http://www.1980-games.com/us/action-games/flash-games/burger-time.php).

Star Wars, because the one time I found a cabinet, it was out of fucking order. I have this Gamecube disc with it on it, but it's not the same as sitting in a big contraption just to play a game.

Other than that, padster is right. Metal Slug is the shit.

I played frogger at an Gameworks in Seattle just yesterday. I sucked and the screen was all fuzzy. As usual I gravitated to the pinball machines (pun intended).

My favorite just because I can play it forever is Space Firebird (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODSWVAaOfCQ). The local Chinese Restaurant I get my takeout from had Space Firebird up till a few years ago.
