While it is incredibly saddening that he has passed away, one can be inspired by the fact that the man gave more than he got, and he got plenty(y)(y)

I was hoping Henry would have something to say (he usually makes me feel better about most things when I feel alone). I had forgotten to check his site since May 5 or so. Thank you for this link.

You can also read it in his Dispatch post from May 8.

He also answers email, albeit briefly, just find the link at his site.

"So, while it is damn hard to take that he is gone, what he put into the time he was living occupies a very bright and beautiful place that will never dim or diminish. Adam's life is a standing inspiration."

YES!!!!(y) Well said Henry Rollins!

Nice piece from Rollins. He must've seen some shit on that tour, I guess. I saw four shows that year (1992 - one with Rollins Band) and I can't recall a single instance of an audience member expressing any dissatisfaction with the band playing their instruments.
(Referring to: "The fact that they would break away from the rap material and actually play instruments onstage -- sometimes to the dissatisfaction of some of their MTV-generated, ADHD-addled youth fans -- made it all the more impressive. They were a real band, and if they had to test the patience of some kid at his second concert, all the better.")

Very well put by Mr Rollins, glad he paid tribute as I remembered they'd toured in '92. Saw both bands that year but not together on that tour.

Both groups always gave 100%.
