The intro they did on MTV to the premiere of So What'Cha Want, which I think is the first public mention of Hornblower. "It was directed by my cousin, Nathaniel Hornblower. He skis on like, these wooden skis...he yodels, he plays the corhorn(?), but he's a good guy, a good solid hard good guy."

NOTE: Seems like I left Mike D out, but his wardrobe choices were the best: Fila shirt, Knicks ringer-T, Golf-Thrills at Golf-Hills jersey, George Washington outfit. (He's also the only Beastie Boy to have a love-scene in a music video.)

The opening of the "Jimmy James" music video with the dancing shadow girl mixed in with the train cut to the record scratching and strobe lights. You need to watch that video in the dark to really appreciate it. Best seizure ever.

And then towards the end where it just goes all crazy and there's the constant back and forth of the dancing girls, the Hendrix footage, the train and the guys. Sick.

The Check It Out Video. I remember each time I would watch it, I would put my focus on one b-boy to see what goofy things he was doing, or what expressions he had because I just love the way they are pushing and playing around with each other in that video. Hilarious. One of my all time faves. (y)

I've always liked Yauch's reaction when Adrock grabs Mike D and jumps out of the plane. Like he didn't just see that happen and he's looking around to figure it out. It makes me laugh every time.

Weird little bit I always loved was in the Hey Ladies video where you see MCA in the background behind Adrock talking to the old guy! I only noticed it when Yauch pointed it out in the Criterion commentary but it cracks me up ever since! I'm not sure why haha
