I mean, I couldn't really imagine that he wouldn't. For me, nobody personified all of the things that I think of when I think of "the Beastie Boys" more than Yauch. As much as I love the Beastie Boys and can get totally caught up in what they were/are doing, what it all means, and everything else, I feel like he felt the same way about it and approached it the same way. He seemed like he had that same level of enthusiasm.That's why it is what it is for me and why I wouldn't ever want it to stop. Not that I'd know or feel like it's my place to say, but I can definitely see it.

Where did you get that from?

Sounds like an interpretation of the RS article that says, But Mike D can imagine their old friend pushing them forward, one last time. "I think Yauch would genuinely want us to try some crazy thing we wanted to do but never gotaround to," he says, sitting at home in Brooklyn, just six blocks away from Yauch's childhood home. He brightens, as if hearing that familiar voice once more: "He'd say, 'That's exactly what you should be doing right now.'"

My interpretation is that Yauch would want them to do whatever makes them happy and they shouldn't necessarily stop making music together or working together if they feel like they should.
