Was he buried? Cremated?

I saw the media information about Donna Summer and Robin Gibb services and it sounded beautiful. Can't believe nothing was said about Yauch's funeral.

Still can't believe he's gone.

If I were a Tibetan Buddhist I'd prefer the sky burial, of course I would want to be left on top of a snow capped mountain.

Maybe that's what happened and there is no news because some would be icked out by the thought of a sky burial.

I know that to many that it would help them move on, but it could simply be that they don't want his resting place to become a shrine where well meaning people gravitate or mean spirited people desecrate. Maybe he was cremated and scattered in Tibet. Maybe things are on hold for right now.

With or without a funeral, it won't take away the pain of him being gone away. Only time will do that. One day his absence (although I just like to think he's not gone, just existing on a different plane) will be replaced with the joy of being a part of him, directly or indirectly.

It just takes time.

Edit...Of course, having looked up sky burial (I knew what it was but never really SAW it) if that was the course he chose then it would just confirm my mindset that MCA was a bad assed mo-fo!!

I hate talking about this. There are different speculations as to what they did as far as his beliefs go. Honestly I don't wanna see it so I am glad it was a private affair.

I'm sure only Tibetan people living in Tibet or neighbouring countries do this sort of burial on a mountain top.
Buddhists in other countries get cremated.
