I was flipping through GRMag issue #2, the classic Bob Mack masterpiece, when I came across an old ad for GRRecords which showed their first series of t-shirts.

One that caught my eye, the "Board of Directors" t-shirt, designed by Ryan Mackeen. It's listed as GR item #1, leading me to think they were selling this t-shirt before they had even released "In Search of Manny".

I have never actually seen this t-shirt on any Beastie Boys fan. I've done an internet search, can't find it, and I did a search for Ryan Mackeen, can't find him either.

Does anyone on this board own that shirt or know where I can find one, or know anything about the artist Ryan Mackeen?

Ha, you guys (and b-grrrlie) are awesome! I've never actually seen that shirt even back in the day. Thanks for posting that picture sabOtage! I have the old Crown logo, where it looks like Crown Royal but its Grand Royal, white w black ringer. Armpits are yellow and full of roach burns, rocked that one nearly every day, summer of '94.

you peeps should preserve those shirts, I think they're rare. I seriously doubt many own that shirt.
